National Coffee Day Deals and Freebies

Today is this Google Girl’s favorite day of the year, National Coffee Day! Nothing helps us get through a long day of “Turning Clicks Into Clients” better than a cup (or cups) of coffee! Luckily, living in Philadelphia means that there is a coffee shop on every block, so the caffeine opportunities are endless. No matter what part of the city you are in today, there will be a coffee shop with a great deal around the corner from you. There are tons of promotions going on today in honor of this national celebration, and the Google Girls are here to tell you about the best ones to find in the city today September, 29th.

Many coffee shops had their National Coffee Day deals already on social media earlier this week, but for the ones that did not, I decided to make a list of some of my favorite places and do a little investigating for today’s deals (you’re welcome).

Dunkin Donuts

With about twenty locations throughout Center City alone, Dunkin Donuts, of course, had to offer a promotion for National Coffee Day. Dunkin Donuts will be giving away free medium hot coffee with a purchase of another medium hot beverage. Dunkin Donuts is trying to stay away from complete freebies, as we all noticed now that we receive $1 coffee when the Eagles win instead of a free coffee. (My favorite right now is the iced pumpkin spiced latte, perfect for the fall season while still beating the heat!)

Wawa

If you have not seen the seen the advertisements already, you have missed the $1 any size coffee that Wawa has been having. If that is still not a good enough deal, Wawa will be giving away free any size coffee for National Coffee Day.

7-11

7-11 is another Philadelphia chain that is on every block of this city, making this deal the perfect excuse to try their coffee if you have not yet. 7-11 is giving away free coffee to rewards members. If you are not a 7-11 rewards member yet, you can find out how to be one here.

Old City Coffee Co

With three locations in Philadelphia (two stores and a roasting booth), Old City Coffee is a great spot to get a local cup of joe. Old City Coffee Co will be offering $1 coffee from 11-2pm, make sure you snag the deal before it’s gone!

Rival Bros Coffee

With two Philadelphia locations (Lombard and Spruce Street), Rival Bros is a great spot to grab the coffee during your afternoon commute home. They will be offering $1, 12oz drip coffee all day!

Horn and Hardart Coffee

A perfect pit stop on the way to work (right on JFK!) Horn and Hardart Coffee not only sells a good brew but also has a full menu featuring salads, soups, and sandwiches! So if you are looking for a new place to have a lunch break stop by and pick up a free cup of coffee. They will only be giving away their Liberty Roast Blend free of charge, perfect for our Philadelphia lovers!

Keurig

This deal is super exciting because it will last you longer than just today, Keurig is offering 20% off all K-Cups on their website with the code CELEBRATE. Their website has many different flavors of coffee along with popular name brands such as Dunkin Donuts, Cinnabon, and McDonald’s (Pro Tip: the best place to buy K-Cups is from marshalls because they are super cheap and most of the time an excellent brand of coffee).
